How do you measure the success of a Rotarians At Work Day
project? By how many club members
participated? By the value of the project to the recipient of our efforts? By
the positive experience of all the participants? By the good fellowship we
shared?
Twenty of our thirty club members participated, bringing
family and friends along to help. Another
23 of the Palo Verde Interactors joined in.
We painted walls in three of the residences, bright garden boxes out in
their garden, and the entire pool fencing, plus we cleared debris from the
grounds.
And we ended with a positively sumptuous barbeque, courtesy
of Joe G., with some brisket-y help from Dennis F. Everyone – New Vista residents and staff,
Rotarians, Interactors, family and friend – had a good time.
Whatever criteria you use, our RAWD project out at New Vista
Ranch was a knock-out success.
